Lia’s journey in Dentistry started in 2000 as a trainee dental nurse, from there she went on to become a dental practice manager and later ran a team, as an acquisitions and integrations manager, for a large dental corporation nationwide. At this stage, she realised she missed patient contact and decided to go to Dental School to become a Hygienist. Lia qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist with awards, from King’s College Hospital in 2014 and hasn’t looked back since.
She has a special interest in exercise, diet, and nutrition and its link to periodontal health. Outside of work Lia enjoys traveling, investing, sewing, and spending time with her family.
