The patient was referred from his GDP for an assessment and possible re-endodontic treatment of the previously treated UR5. The tooth was root-filled 6 months before the referring practitioner’s referral. Following endodontic treatment from his GDP, the patient kept complaining of pain and an unsettled tooth. Following a thorough assessment re-endo of the UR5 agreed. All the previously placed root-filling material was removed, an additional, missed buccal canal was located, shaped and obturated. Re-endo was completed successfully in a single session. The tooth has settled, and the patient returned to his GDP for the final restoration.
