An international student came in with a large swelling above UL1. The tooth was root canal treated 7 years prior. Re-endodontic treatment was carried out in two sessions and completed after 4 weeks. All patient’s symptoms subsided within the first 48 hours. At the second
the session, the patient reported no pain or discomfort and the swelling had disappeared completely.
